Notorious outlaw Jesse James was shot and killed in this house, in St. Joseph, MO, April 3, 1882. He was killed by James gang member, James Ford, to collect a $10,000 reward offered by Governor Tom Crittendon. Today the home is a museum, dealing with the life and death of Jesse James. The home was moved from it's original location at 1318 Lafayette St.. It was moved to the grounds of the Patee Museum. The art print is the work of MIdwest Artist, Diana L Perry
