The Ripley's "Believe it or Not" Chapel. also known as the Veteran's Chapel in Leavenworth, KS was built in 1893. The Chapel's architectural features are reminescent of the earliest European Cathedrals. In 1921, a Ripley's "Believe it or Not" article stated that this is the only chapel in the world, where catholic and protestant services, can be held under one roof at the same time. Protestant services were held in the upper level and Catholic services in the lower level. The beautiful, historic chapel is located on the grounds of the Eisenhower VA Medical Center, Leavenworth, KS.
